Kutjevo d.d.

Following a history spanning nearly 750 years, including eventful periods, PPK Kutjevo underwent privatization in 2003, with Božjakovina Ltd acquiring the majority share. Despite this change, Kutjevo Ltd. has continued to thrive, with 650 employees and an organizational structure comprising three sectors: viticulture, crop production, and livestock production.

PROJECT SCOPE

Automatization With SCADA

  • Creation of a SCADA system for receiving and transporting grapes at Kutjevo.
  • Integration of the SCADA system with an ERP system based on Oracle DB
  • Operator capability to select the user/company and grape variety for delivery
  • Weighing and measuring of malt based on selected parameters
  • Generation of purchase price and printing of lottery tickets for users and records
  • Development of a custom Microsoft SQL database as a link between SCADA and ERP systems
  • Automatic synchronization of data with the ERP system at the end of each day

DUPLICO SOLUTION

Automation & Control Systems

The system was created using the Aveva System Platform. The main goal was to connect the SCADA system with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system based on Oracle DB.
The SCADA system allowed operators to select the user or company that delivered the grapes and choose the grape variety.

After making these selections, the system would proceed to weigh and measure the malt. Based on the selected parameters, the system would generate a purchase price and print lottery tickets for both the user and for record-keeping purposes.
To facilitate the integration between the SCADA and ERP systems, a custom Microsoft SQL database was created. This database served as a link between the two systems, enabling the exchange of relevant data.

At the end of each day, the data from the SCADA system was automatically synchronized with the ERP system.
